Who We Are
We are The Mellon, a people-first consultancy founded by Todd & Dani Mellon in 2025.
Full circle- we help businesses and business owners, high-impact leaders, and professionals get “unstuck.” We focus on identifying the root issues that frequently come up and help address them so that things can finally move forward.
Sometimes, the solution isn’t another system or strategy. There may be something deeper happening that hasn’t been identified yet. That’s where we take a step back, ask questions, and create space to explore what might be at the root of the issue.
We work with people who are open to looking beyond the surface and exploring both practical and personal solutions.
Why we started The Mellon.
We started The Mellon because we saw a need for more conversations around what God might be saying about the marketplace and the work we do within it. What can our roles look like when we become an active participant with God, dream with Him around our businesses, careers, and decision-making?
Coming out of our roles in corporate and the business marketplace, we experienced many occasions where we chose to partner with God, ask for His insight, and trust Him for solutions. Time and time again, it made a significant difference in how we moved forward in our roles and the outcomes we experienced.
In the marketplace, this looked like walking into rooms with executives and decision-makers to procure business and walking out the door with a signed contract.
In HR, this looked like handling difficult employee decisions and feeling peace in the midst of heaviness.
In business operations, this looked like asking God for direction and getting an idea about a person, place, or thing and finding favor there.
And personally, this looked like increasing our salaries during career transitions by discovering our value and worth.
These experiences showed us that partnering with God in our work wasn’t just something we could do in our personal lives — it could directly impact how we led, made decisions, navigated challenges, and moved forward professionally.
We have a passion for helping people, and with our professional experience and ministry knowledge, we knew we wanted to build something we hadn’t seen in the marketplace before- a consultancy that brings together professional expertise and a willingness to partner with God to find the solutions, direction, and breakthrough people are looking for.
So where do we come in? And what makes us different?
Sometimes, the root issue is a broken system. Identify where it’s broken, fix it, and you should have an immediate solution, right? But what if there are other unseen issues happening that are contributing to the overall breakdown? We go beyond just the simple fix and focus on identifying the who and the what that needs to be mended. If we can get to the root issues together and truly find freedom and healing, that’s where new growth and capacity to move forward will happen.
This can look like helping leaders get healthy in their relationships at home and at work, breaking off patterns of self-destruction, addressing lies they may be believing about themselves, working through criticism, challenging unhealthy leadership concepts, and addressing professional burnout. These things may not show up on an organizational chart or in a business plan, but they can have a very real impact on how someone leads, communicates, makes decisions, and ultimately contributes to the health of an organization.
